Nesting... is baby almost here?

Okay, so lately I've really started in on the nesting phase, which is kind of great because the house could really use an obsessive cleaning. My only concern is that my husband is away until next Thursday and I really want LO to wait for his daddy to be home before making an appearance. I am 38 weeks pregnant... does anyone know what nesting means in terms of how soon baby might arrive? I'm pretty sure that baby will come when he wants to and that nesting isn't really an indication of time frame, I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance.
