cervadil inserted... ouch!

I'm a FTM, so I only have stories of other women to go by but not one story I've read yet mentioned how uncomfortable it was to have the cervadil inserted. I understand the majority if this childbirth process is 'not'designed to be comfortable, but ouch. That was not pleasant. Maybe i'm just sensitive being a first timer.

I had that just last week (18 hours before my daughter was born!) and I honestly thought the uncomfortable hospital bed was worse than the cervail... But that was just my take on it.

I agree! They gave me that and shoved it in behind my cervix apparently. Not a comfortable feeling. Then the darn thing fell out an hour and a half later!

I had to be induced and they inserted the cervidil the night before. It definitely helped to start my contractions before the pitocin started. Got to say that it was a very uncomfortable evening and not the best feeling being removed the following morning
