so i know low blood sugars are common for T1D during the first trimester, but 16? and it just hit me all of the sudden. First i passed out, paramedics got there after i woke back up and tested and it was 20, ate a PB&J, drank 2 cups of juice mixed with 2 tbs sugar each and BS was 16! then drank MORE juice and ate more and it only went up to 30, so they took me in. worst night ever. going from 16 to over 300 in a matter of 4 hours is no fun

is anyone else having issues getting their blood suagrs to stay up or having to adjust their correction factors/carb to insulin ratios? im not on a pump and am hoping to not have to get one (i was on one for years, hated it). i take a daily dose of lantus and novolog injections throughout the day, i test 10-13 times a day (and throughout the night) and its just not enough it seems like. im getting extremely overwhelmed and i'm only 5w6d along in this
