I havnt posted yet because I am just so exhausted. My boys were born on 3/4 at 38w2d. Ethan weighed 5lbs12oz and Evan weighed 5lbs11oz. They were born via c-section and I found the days after worse than I expected recovery wise. I am just greatful that they were birn healthy. I am also nursing them and feeling so exhausted. For those that nursed and or pumped, what were the benefits to do doing both or sticking to one. I just pumped for a feeding in a little while just because I feel like I need a break. I feel like all I do is feed feed feed. I tandum here and there. I need to do it more often. I will post pics soon.
Re: My twins are here and BF question
Congrats Lynn! With DS I only pumped once a day to get 1 bottle for DH to feed. I found it was too much to do more on top of BF. with twins I don't know what to expect. Can't wait to see pics!

After mine came home from the NICU, I gave them 1 or 2 bottles a day so I could have a break. Do what you feel you need to in order to keep your sanity, mama. Definitely try to tandem as much as possible because it does save time. It can be tricky, but
Yay! Congrats Lynn!!! I can tell by your tone you feel a lot like I do now. The kids have all been home for 3 weeks and trying to exclusively nurse and/or pump is just crazy for me. I'm doing a mixture of both, along with supplementing with

Congratulations on your healthy little boys!
The best nursing advice I got was from my LC - she told me, "The first few weeks you will feel like all you do is nurse, and you'll feel like it's all you are going to do for the rest of your life.&nbs
I have always found it easier to just BF, rather than pump and bottle feed, especially if you can do tandem.
It is SOOOOOO exhausting in the beginning, the feeling that all you do is BF is totally normal. Remember that they need to nurse constant
