Weight gain

I'm starting to feel really bad about all the weight I've gained so far, I read how other women gain 1 or 2 pounds or even loose weight the first trimester. I'm up to 20 pounds and I'm only 15w3 days! To make matters worse I put on 15 lbs before I got pregnant which I attribute to the fertility meds, and emotional eating. I feel huge and disgusting, when I asked my doctor about my weight she said she wasn't concerned though. Has anyone else gained this much this early? I know with twins you gain more obviously but I'm really feeling discouraged.
