I have 22 days left at my second job.

It's been a while since I updated ya'll on the debt payoff stuff: 

My last day will be April 4, 3 weeks from tomorrow. I was going to try to make it until July to build up our savings, but I just can't do it any more. There's way too much drama with the managers. I'm really looking forward to some free time. 

We were planning to pay off the car tomorrow, but the 2nd job is the gift that just keeps on giving. They told me how to do my tax withholdings incorrectly, and I never noticed all year. I did a mock up of our taxes on Turbotax (we're taking them to jackson hewitt but I wanted an estimate before going), and since they didn't withhold taxes last year, we will owe ~$1800 in taxes. I paid a whole $5 in state tax all last year. So there goes the money for the car payment, as well as our savings account and probably most of the last 2 checks. I won't know exactly how much it'll be until JH does our taxes, but that surprise pretty much sucked monkey balls.

DH doesn't want me to stay longer though, so we'll make it work somehow. Yay for 22 days left though! I'm giving my notice on Monday.

Man, that sucks about owing so much taxes!  At least there is an end in sight.  I think the emotional benefit from leaving Walmart will be worth falling short on the financial plan.

That does suck about owing taxes, but this way you were able to pay off more on your credit cards. You saved on the interest that way. You have worked your way into a definitely manageable financial situation that's awesome!
