1st Trimester

Where did the symptoms go?

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and so far, no major sypmtoms so I count myself lucky. During weeks 4 and 5, I notice though that I was more exhausted in the evenings after work, major bloating and some mild constipation. This week though, it seems to have all disappeared. I've read other posts about worrying about things, but it hasn't helped settle my nerves.

My first OB appointment isn't until April 4th. I've tried not to stress about the little cramps and bloating, because it seems normal. I've had no severe pains, spotting, or bleeding. But now there's nothing, and it's as if I don't even feel pregnant anymore. My breasts were never really sore, they had been a little tender but not hugely noticable. Also, I haven't noticed them getting any bigger either, which is fine by me if they don't! It just seems like everyone has that happen.

Is the disappearance of symptons worth calling the doctor over, or am I really just worrying too much?

You could call, but I'm guessing your doctor will tell you not to worry unless you have bleeding or severe cramping.

I know it's hard not to stress over symptoms or lack thereof, but you really have to try not to obsess over them, which is MUCH

  • It's hard to get used to but the blunt answer is that yes, you're worrying too much (which you're now going to do for the rest of your life :)  But honestly, nothing you said warrants a call to the doctor because it truly IS normal.  Your body t

  • Symptoms can tend to come and go at times.  It's normally not anything to worry about too much, but if you're concerned you can call your doctor.

  • For me, the food aversions and nausea didn't really start until I was towards the end of week 7. I'm 12w now and I've only thrown up about 3 times, have gained no weight, my boobs are a little fuller maybe, but my bras still fit. At the height of it aroun

  • I know why you're worried, loss of symptoms is scary. But week 6 might be too early to make a judgement because most symptoms don't really kickstart until after that. Mine start around week 7. If you don't feel pregnant anymore, it's a worry for you but s
