Ok so I'm not planning on starting e on babyfood for a couple more months but I'm a planner so I'd like to think ahead. I really want to make my own baby food!! I got a magic bullet for Christmas so I want to use that. I've read online that you basically steam the fruit or veggies and pure with water. Can't I use my breast milk? Wouldn't it be better? I have such a big freezer stash that I'd love to have a use for! How are you making your baby food? Any tips?
Re: Baby food
I think water is fine. You really won't use much water, or wouldn't use much BM. Plus, they eat very little in the beginning. If you used frozen BM, the food would only be good for 24 hours. You could not refreeze it for use later. I would use your BM
You can absolutely use breastmilk. I boiled carrots, sweet potatos and beets. I mix them with organic fruits and he has liked all of it. Check out weelicious.com
