Hemorrhoids and iron in prenatals

I have hemorrhoids and due to iron  in prenatals they start bleeding.I am in my first trimester now .. I want to know if anyone has tried iron shots instead of iron in prenatal meds . Are iron shots safe ? I read that it could be fatal in some cases. Anyone who took iron shots please let me know your experiences.

ask your Dr. about this but I don't have any iron in my prenatal for this exact reason.  In my first pregnancy she told me it was fine but that around 20-25 weeks to start with an iron supplement.  I have enough constipation without adding iron and she told me I was not anemic so I didn't need the extra until a lot later.

Have you tried staying hydrated and eating foods high in fiber and lots of fruit to keep you regular. Hemorrhoids happen when you're constantly pushing and you can get them with or without taking an iron supplement.

i switched to a flinestone vitamin, per my dr's orders b/c I was having horrible bathroom problems. I am also taking a stool softener daily. It has helped alot!!
