Recommend your chair booster

DS has decided that the high chair is not for him anymore and would rather sit at the table with the rest of the family. For those of you who have one, what features do you like/not like about the one you have?  Thanks for sharing!

Re: Recommend your chair booster

  • We have this super simple booster that attaches to the regular dining chair.

It's nothing fancy at all but totally serves it's purpose. We pull LO as close to the table as possible and he can reach stuff on the attached tray and on the dinner table as well. i will say I don't know how much longer he will last in it. He seems to be getting a little big for the small tray

I like that it straps to the chair and that I could strap her in (we don't strap her in anymore).

  • I also have the booster seat that sits right on top of the kitchen chair.  I like that it doesn't take up as much space as a regular high chair would.  Our kitchen table is pub height, so the chair fits right up to the counter, too, which is great for DD to sit there while I'm making dinner or cleaning up.  She also sits there to color or play with toys when I need her to be strapped in somewhere.

  • Thanks for all of your info ladies! I'll be getting one before Saturday for DS. We'll be sending a lot of non essential furniture to a storage unit in prep for putting our house on the market soon. It would be nice to send the high chair there too.

  • I have the super basic safety 1st sit! Booster seat. It is simple, easy to clean and has a nice high lift or rise [some that I was looking at seemed really short for a booster seat]. I bought mine at Walmart and rite aide for 10 dollars or so.
