Komurphy- At her last bi-monthly cervical check her cervix was measuring 1.8 cm and doctor was talking about putting a cerclage in place. Any updates?
DrRx- last week lining check was only at a 7, needs to be 8 before they can proceed. Embryo transfer should take place on March 14th. Got our fingers crossed for you.
punky917- Is currently on bedrest along with indocin to help with the cramping and inflammation. Please keep her and LO in your prayers.
vsalt31-TTC in April/May for baby #2. Keeping our fingers crossed for you guys!

I have my 28 week appt. on Friday along with an internal to check to make sure my cervix is still closed and also my glucose test. Fingers crossed for no changes with my cervix and that I past the glucose test.
This week I'm really starting to feel crummy, and to top it off I've been having insomnia the last two nights, which I've never had before. Fingers crossed that's temporary.
Started the progesterone shots this past Saturday, and I don't remember them hurting so much.
They are definitely annoying, especially when I have to carry Adalyn up and down the stairs.
I go for bloodwork tomorrow to make sure that my progesterone is where it needs to be (which I'm sure it will, but am still irrationally terrified that it will be bad news) and will get the time to report for the transfer on Thursday! Eek!!

I meet with my MFM last week to do another cervical length check and discuss a cerclage. Since I was at 23 weeks and my cervix continued to thin she decided it was to risky. She switched me from the 17P shots to vaginal projesterone and restricted my activity (no walking, breaks at work to lay down, laying down at home, no lifting, ect). She also told me that if my cervix is thinner this week (we meet again tmrw) that she'd start the steroid injects for the babies lungs and possibly bed rest.
Lily born at 27 wks: 2 lbs 4 oz.

TriciaandSean and Komurphy: Hoping for the best with your cervical checks this week!
MFM had to take me off Indocin because of lower level of amniotic fluid. No cramping lately which I am thankful for and cervix last week was holding up at 2.5 cm. Cervical check later this week along with steroid shots just in case.
Had my fetal echo on Friday and all was well, little dude looks good, and I even got a bonus 4D shot of him! I have my next cervical check next Friday, but so far, so good, I am officially almost three weeks past the point where I started having issues with Corri, so everything seems promising. I am still getting P17 shots, and DH is getting way to good at stabbing me in the a$$, lol!
Little dude also finally started getting really active and DH and I finally felt external kicks this past weekend, which does wonders for my peace of mind.

Glad everything is going well for you! I just wanted to say that your DD is so adorable! I was so used to seeing a pic of her on the tricycle that she looks really grown up in her new pic.

My twin's birth story
I just wanted to update and say I had my glucose test today and an internal to check my cervix. I'm waiting on my glucose test results but everything was closed up so I'm crossing my fingers it stays that way for at least another 2 months. The doctor also has instructed that I now start weekly cervix checks since I'm coming in weekly for my progesterone shots anyways.
Come on baby, you gotta stay up for several more weeks. Praying for you and your LO.
I am sorry that you are going through all of this, but hang in there! I am praying for you that everything slows down and LO stays in much longer!
Doing well over here.. 28wks this week. Creeping up to when I went into PTL last time (32w6d) so we are just making sure everything gets done with plenty of time to spare. DH brought up our bags to start getting ready to pack, notes for the grandparents when they watch DS1.. etc. As far as for DS2..just gotta pick out the nursery bedding/decor & get the curtains up, and finish putting the NB & 0-3 mos clothing away. I think thats about it.
Weekly appts start this week, and I think weekly NST's, will find out more at my appt on Wed.
