I'd love some feedback on my stash so far TIA

 

Currently have:

12 tiny gPants (already outgrown)

6 small gPants

18 gCloth liners 

4 OS bamboo Kawaii pockets

2 OS minky Kawaii pockets

1 OS Charlie Banana pocket 

 

Just ordered:

4 OS Alva pockets

1 OS bamboo Alva pocket

 

Planning on ordering:

1 size 2 Applecheeks envelope cover

1 OS RaR cover

3 med/lrg Kissaluvs cotton/fleece fitteds

4 OS Joeybunz hemp inserts

Looks like you have a good start.  Once you have around 24 diapers you ought to be able to wash every other day.  I see by your ticker LO is only 2 weeks old.  The AppleCheeks size 1 covers last up to 15-20 pounds  So that size 2 cover won't work until LO is somewhere between 9 months and 15 month.

I see you're also ordering a RaR cover.  Do you plan to use that and the AppleCheeks over the fitteds?  Or do you have some prefolds?  Both those covers tend to fit rather slim, so they work best with NB or small prefolds tri-folded or even AppleCheeks bamboo inserts tri-folded.

I was planning on using the apple cheeks as either a pocket or cover, and the RaR over the fitteds. Do you think a kawaii cover would work better over the fitteds?

Applecheeks are awesome as a pocket, I'd just get a size 1 if you plan to use it anytime soon.

To go over the fitted, I would recommend a bigger cover.  That way you have plenty of room to add doublers/extra inserts when baby is bigger and needs more absorbency. I don't have any experience with the Kawaii covers, so i'll have to defer to someone else on that one. I really like Blueberry covers and Sweet Pea covers.  The Blueberry's are huge, but are about $5 more than the Sweet Peas.  RaRs are good covers too, but they tend to have a little shorter rise than some other diapers.
