Annelise/Anneliese

I think we are 99% sure we want to name our baby girl Annelise/Anneliese Ruth and I can't decide on a spelling for it.

I tend to lean toward Anneliese because it looks like one name and not like two names pieced together...but that's just me.  Some of the other spellings tend to play tricks on my eyes and make me think of Ann-elsie or something.....  What spelling looks the most natural to you?  If there is one you think to add, feel free.  I may have left one out....

We chose Annalise because we were naming her after someone named Anna, but I do prefer that spelling over the others. Anneliese is so many letters to me that it throws my eye .

I have a little girl in my class that spells it Analiz.

It's a beautiful name!  I think Annalise looks like a complete name & would be the easiest for other people to spell and pronounce so she's not constantly being asked how to spell it

I'm a big fan of the Anneliese spelling.  Super cute name.

Annaliese is my DD's MN. We went with that spelling because it is a family name. I actually prefer Anneliese though

Anneliese is the traditional German/Dutch spelling and the one we went with. It looks more complete to me, and I don't like ones that begin with "anna" because with the "L" after it, it looks like "anal".
