Although I'm getting 6 - 7 of broken up hours during the night, I feel like I should be sleeping more. ?But hey, "If it ain't broke don't fix it" right??
I feel the same way! I was just thinking about this right before I read your post. Even if I take a 20 minute cat nap with DD, I feel more tired in the middle of the night when I wake up for feedings.
It really is weird how that works! Maybe all the sleep I got before DDs arrival really did work!
Same here. DD will sleep through the night but still gets up at 5 am. By the time she's ready to go back down, its time to get DS up and ready for school. By that time...right now, actually...I could go back to sleep but I'm awake now. If I try to lay back down it will just screw up my whole day.

in the first 3-4 weeks I also felt better on less sleep. maybe it was endorphins or something, but if i slept during the day I felt all icky.
not so much now.
