Simone is a name on DH's side with a lot of sentimental value to him, and we have been strongly considering it as a fn. How do you think it sounds as a sibset with Cameron?
Also Michela was my grandmother's Italian middle name, also a lot of sentimental value. It is pronounced mee-KEH-la but we would probably just pronounce it like the American version. Her American middle name was Michelle but I don't like it with Simone.
Another mn option is Amalia which overall I like more but does not have as much sentimental value as Michela (was the mn of a relative that I was not very close to but I always loved the name).
Thoughts?
Re: Simone Michela? or Simone Amalia?
i'm favor to sentiment and also really like the combo Simone Michela.
what is the american pronunciation btw? I pronounce it mee-Keh-lah personally.
Well it's a subtle difference but the American pronunciation I would use is mi-KAY-la, as in Michaela.
I think Simone is a beautiful name, and it pairs wells with Cameron.
I prefer the MN Amalia, but both options are great.

Simone Michela is a nice name, especially the family significance.
Simone and Cameron are a great sib set.
