How many hours before you leave for work in the morning do you wake up?
I've been getting up two hours before I leave (so 6:00 am) to make things less rushed (I need to shower in the AM because I have short hair), but DD has started to wake up earlier too (also at 6:00 or shortely after), so I don't have any time to work out or do morning devotions. DH gets up around 6:45.
I'm starting to wonder if I need to start getting up at 5:00-5:30 to have some time to myself before she gets up...
Re: Getting ready in the morning
I get up about an hour and a half before I need to leave, so that there's time for me to shower and have a quiet breakfast alone (a whopping 15 minutes tops) before getting dressed and marshaling DD through getting herself dressed and eating breakfast. I can't imagine willingly waking up at 5 am, which is probably why I never find time to exercise
45 min. 25 min for me to get ready and 20 min to get two kids ready.
I shower and pick clothes out the night before.
DD actually slept until 7:00 this morning, so I was able to wake up at 6:00 AND STILL workout and get to work on time.
Sigh...if only she would do that every day!
Up until this year, I got up at 7:00 and hit the door at 7:30. Somehow, I now get up at 6:00, get the baby up at 6:15 and the girls up at 6:30. One more child decreased my sleep by an hour.
I shower at night.
