We're expecting our first in June and have decided to go the CD route. What are you ladies washing your dirty diapers with to prevent staining, yet sensitive for baby's skin. I'm afraid that our son will have Eczema and very sensitive skin since dad has eczema and my skin rashes easily.
Also, do you have a diaper pail you recommend?
TIA for the suggestions!
Re: What are you washing with?

My daughter has super sensitive skin.
We use Tiny Bubbles without any issues.
We also use lotion in the morning and night (all over).
And that the soap you use makes a big difference. After about a week of use, I really like Burt's Baby Shampoo and Wash ( I think it says Burt's Baby Bee). We also only use soap every 3 days and wash her hair every 2-3 days depending on if she needs it or not.
Skip the Johnson and Johnson soaps.
Honestly, don't waste your time and energy worrying about stains. They are not an accurate indicator of whether or not your diapers are clean. Use your nose.
DS has eczema and went through a wet-sensitive rashy stage from about 5 weeks to 4 months. I tried every kind of cloth and disposable and cream out there and this rash just wouldn't go away. I also went on an eliminiation diet to try to get the eczema and rash under control. Not convinced. At the time we were using Country Save, which is one of the clean-rinsing types and doesn't have all the extra perfumes, brightened, enzymes, etc. We never had stains, maybe it was the CS or maybe the Seattle water was just awesome.
Eventually we tried Grandma El's with a hypoallergenic sposie, then CJ's during the day with cloth. Rash went away.
Then we moved to London where we have notoriously hard water and we were able to find a place that carries Tiny Bubbles, which is very similar to Country Save. We get stains, which I don't care about. We also got an ammonia smell after he peed during our first couple weeks doing laundry here. I changed the initial rinse to warm and added a water softener, and the smell went away. The diaper stains tend to come out in subsequent washes, and I only know this because I don't see new stains on top of old stains. So now we have slightly stained diapers but DS's bottom is the most rash-free skin on his whole body. Go figure.
This is a great reference for comparing detergents for cloth diapering:

I have extremely sensitive skin. For example, I can't use Tide detergent. So far, neither the baby nor I have had problems with this combination of detergents:

Planet Wise Wet Bag- 2 large bags in rotation. We wash the bag with the diapers.

I use planet, Whole Foods Carries it. The top soaps you will see on here is Charlies, Rockin Green, Tiny Bubbles, Tide Original and All Free. This website has a great breakdown though:

Forgot about the diaper pail:
I use a steralite white plastic step trash can with a liner (wet bag liner) in it. I attached some arm and hammer nursery freshners to the inside top with velcro This way I can change them out and they help absorb the odors. Works great!
With my diaper service they use this one and it is GREAT:

Amazon also has this pail smaller for 38.95 but high shipping, you might be able to find it somewhere else:

I regularly get eczema and have numerous reactions to different detergents and skin care products. I use Tiny Bubbles, and my daughter has never had an issue.
I use a large hanging wetbag instead of a pail.
