I found a nice bedtime prayer/ blessing

A couple weeks ago someone posted about wanting a more neutral, non-religious bedtime prayer to do with kids. I just heard this one today and thought I'd share it.

Day is over, night has come. Today is gone, whats done is done. Embrace your dreams, through the night, tomorrow comes with a whole new light.

Short, simple, and sweet. I might start doing this with Wally.

The other day I was googling bed time prayers and found one I really like. It is religious, but I thought I would throw it out there for anyone interested...

Lord, we thank You for the night,
And for the pleasant morning light,
For rest and food and loving care,
And all that makes the day so fair.
Help us to do the things we should,
To be to others kind and good;
In all we do and all we say,
To grow more loving every day
