Pregnancy Names

Is it just me, or does anyone else hate being called "Preggers", "Preggo", and other similar names? I don't know why I hate it so much. I'd rather just be labeled "With child" or just merely "pregnant".

Agreed! Expecting is what I prefer,...if I call myself preggo, it's ok, if someone else does it, they get the eye roll....

Yes.  I also hate it when couples decided they're both pregnant.  "We're pregnant!!".  No, she's pregnant.  Maybe you're both "expecting" but only she is pregnant.

This! I actually had someone say "I'm going to call you spaghetti sauce because you're pregoo!" thinking they were funny...you're so not funny!

I hate it to. My SIL says it all the time in reference to me and it drives me nuts.

When we were TTCing she used to say "Are you preggo yet?"...nope, still just human thanks, mind your business.

I hated prego before I got pregnant, and now that I am, I absolutely cannot stand it. My mom called me prego in the store and I almost flipped out. Hate hate it.

Honestly, I don't really care because I'm PREGNANT!!!
Now the belly rub thing...that angers me. Not sure how I'll handle it yet but it may involve rubbing that person's belly!

 Exactly! My FIL already tried rubbing my belly when I was only 6 weeks. I didn't say anything at the time because I know he and my MIL are both very excited, but all I was thinking was "that's just my fat you're rubbing!"

Yep I'm not a fan of preggo.  And like PP said, I'M the one that's pregnant...there's no "we're pregnant" here.  And only DH gets to touch my tummy.  I'm totally not looking forward to when I hugely pregnant with twins I'm sure everyone is going to want to touch me...gag.

Hmm, I must have a mean face or something. No one rubbed my belly with DS except a few close friends who asked first. Not once did a stranger even try. I don't really care what people call me, I'm just happy to be pregnant.
