DH and I are both school teachers in New Jersey. We were planning on taking the standard maternity leave for myself (3/6 weeks unpaid, but you can use sick your sick days and I have Aflac). And DH was going to take a paternity leave ? according to the Family Leave Act he will be approved but he is NOT allowed to use his sick days!!! This seems wrong to me. What have your experiences been?
