We're about 9 weeks away from DD's arrival and still don't have a name. My favorite name is Felicity, but DH nixed it. He has also vetoed Sloane. The one name I've suggested that he did like was Ruby (I like it, but I'm not sure it is "the name"). Our last name starts with a J and ends in -son, so we're avoiding names that begin with J, B, or end in the "-in/-en" sound. Not fans of popular names (Addison, Sophia, Olivia) or cutesy names (Kinsley, etc). Thanks in advance ladies!

My favorite book when I was young was called the Ivy Cottage. The two characters were Ruby Buttons and Violet Pickles. Maybe that's where you got Violet from, haha.
Felicity was our girl name for #1 (but he is a he so HE is Everett). Ruby was also on our list. We seem to like similar girl names so here are the other names we like:

Eloise
Lucille
Colette
