How would you know you have it?i know you need to have a laparoscopy to diagnose for sure, but are there major clues as to whether you have it? I know people who say they have a history of endo ...how do they know this? I just wish I had an answer to unexplained infertility. I have one child from iui though so it worked then. But not now... Ugh so frustrating!!

I occassionally have pain during intercourse. Because of this, my doctor did lap surgery and found it then. I do not have painful periods or heavy bleeding, both of which are typical symptoms.
Turns out I had stage 2. I would have never considered it because my SIL has stage 4 and she is in bad physical pain from cramps and everything else. She's the poster child for Endo and has had three laps done to remove it three times.

I am really struggling with this too. My RE wants to do a lap, but I don't want to have a surgery that might be unnecessary. My RE says there is no way to say if it is necessary until after the lap.
What to do? What to do? I could just do the hysteroscopy and see if that works for a few cycles. Then schedule the lap if it doesn't work after four or five cycles. But, do I really want to keep waiting to find out?
