Best inserts?

I am purchasing 10 new pocket diapers through a Co-op, but they don't come with inserts. I can purchase microfiber inserts for $1.20 a piece. I know that's a good price, but I'm not sure if I should go with something else. We have some pockets now that have mf inserts but I can see them not being absorbant enough as DS gets older.

 What would you recommend? I have heard good things about the bamboo/mf inserts from Alva, but I thought there may be something better. Any advice?

DS is just 8 months, but MF still works fine for us in the daytime (about 2 hours per stretch). I use hemp doublers if I need to up the absorbancy for ON. I only have one bamboo diaper, but I do love it. Can you get a variety?

I like the bamboo inserts from alva. They are very trim. A little hard to stuff but work great.

This. I have hemp/bamboo from 6 different makers, but the Alva's are always the first I reach for.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't order the mf inserts and have been looking at the Alva ones. I heard good things about the bamboo/mf inserts. I think it is bamboo on the outside and mf on the inside. Do you all have those, or the 3 layer bamboo?

Has anyone used the bamboo charcoal inserts? I found some online that are about the same price as the bamboo/mf alvas. They have 2 layers of bamboo charcoal and 3 layers of mf.

I found some on hyenacart and some on Ebay. The ones on Ebay are the same price, but the shipping is cheaper. They are actually the same price as the Alva bamboo/mf ones. Now I'm not sure which ones to get, but I am sort of leaning towards the charcoal ones now! I think they are slightly thicker but are supposed to be VERY absorbant.
