So I loaned out my baby bargains book, and it was lost. In the meantime can my nesties help me out? 
What are the top rated converitble car seats?
Britax (which one(s))? Graco Comfortsport? Anything else well rated?
Which Maclaren stroller is recommended -- Volo, Quest, Triump?

Top rated convertibles are Britax Marathon (A-) and Roundabout (A) and Sunshine Kids Radian 60/80. Graco Comfortsport is C+.
The Maclaren strollers were well recommended and rated 'A' as a group. Just depends on what features you're looking for in the stroller and how much you're willing to spend.
We haven't up-sized yet. DD is still in her Graco Snugride and Snugrider.

the evenflo carseats were also top rated.
as for stroller, my personal fav is the baby jogger city mini (we just bought 1 at buybuybaby) CHECK IT OUT! I was going to get a maclaren but then saw this and it's just has a lot more and is still super light but it folds in half like a jogger!
