Please Help! I can stop vomiting :

in 1st Trimester
What do I do? I can't stop vomiting : I have nothing left to throw up but I continue to throw up. I've thrown up 5 times in the last hour and I don't know what to do anymore. I don't get nauseas, I just go straight to the bathroom. I have soda crackers by my side all the time : Anyone???

    I would call your OB, if you're throwing up that much you're probably dehydrated, and need a script for Zofran or something of that nature.

    Talk to your OB if you have one, tell them what is wrong, they might be able to suggest something that helps. If it gets worse, go to the nearest ER and tell them what I'd going on including that you are expecting.

    I agree, call your OB, it sounds like you need an rx asap. In the mean time, have you tried sucking on hard candies? Jolly Ranchers help settle my tummy. A lot of ladies have good luck with ginger candies too. Also after throwing up really cold Gatorade is the only thing that makes my throat feel a little better, even water hurts.

    Good luck, keep trying to hydrate, you don't want to get too dehydrated.

    Thank you ladies. I called my doctor, but I am still waiting for a call back.

    deltagirl79 : thank you so much for your suggestions. I had heard of those tips and they completely slipped my mind. I'm also having the hubby get me ginger ale soda.

    ugh, so sorry! I had that all 9 months last time...what helped me was ginger ale, jolly ranchers, eating really small frequent meals...i pretty much felt like i was snacking 24/7.  Hope you feel better!

    Update:

    The doctor had me ho in right away and they prescribed Zofran. I'm going to hold of on taking it though until I have another episode. I started drinking sprite while the hubby went to get ginger ale and that helped so much!

    On the bright side, we got to see our little peanut for the first time and hear the heart beat!!!! Makes all the sick feelings worth it! :

    You can take 25mg of b6 and 12.5 mg of unisom per my ob office every 8 hours.
