Re: anyone take extra b6?

  • It was suggested to me to take no more than 200mg per day. So when I combine that with diclectin, I only take one 50mg supplement.
  • I take a complex vita B vitamin.  It is a whole food vitamin though, so it's not measured the same as the synthetic.  I was actually vita B deficient after both of my previous pregnancies (which caused me to have dizziness and migraines)... so it might be worth your time to take that supplement!

  • I got a "stuff to know when you're newly pregnant" packet from my RE and she said up to 200mg of B6 (divided into 3 doses) daily, in combination with Unisom in the evenings, is recommended for nausea.

  • I take folgard and there is extra b6 in it along with b12 and folic acid. My RE prescribed it to me.
