Why don't they call it what it really is... Scratching The Sh!t Out Of Your Cervix. Was not expecting that at my appointment today but it sure has made my cramps more intense!

    If I'm remembering what my OB from DS told me, they pretty much stick their finger up in there and separate the bag right around that area. Hurt like frickin h*ll when they did it to me. I cursed and had to hold myself from climbing up off the table.

    Yeah...this is where they separate the amniotic sac from your uterus to induce labor.  I had it done twice with my first because I was 10 days late.  I told my SO the other day there is no way I'm letting them do this again, I would rather get induced in the hospital!  It is so incredibly painful!
