Hearing???

When can a baby hear? I mean like if were to talk to the baby or my husband? Of course my 16 year old sister has talked to my stomach since we found out in December, but I am wondering.

I believe 16 weeks is when they just start to be able to- something about the ear bones going into place.

I forget when I heard that they could hear... Oh well though, I talk to the LO anyways.

around 18-20 weeks and then it's fully developed at 35 weeks.

From all the books I read, they can hear around 16 weeks (start to)- 20 weeks. It only gets stronger as you go along of course(:
