Hi all,
Back story: I've never been regulated with AF since I first started. I got on BC when I was 16 and stayed on it for 6 years. I found out I had Pre-cervical cancer cells and had a procedure to have part of my cervix removed. I was told it would not affect getting PG. I decided to get on BC and ever since I have been very irregular; sometime a few months without AF. All my drs said not to worry until I was ready to get PG. Well I'm ready! DH and I have been trying for 2 years and nothing. I'm a little underweight but I slowing gaining. I'm def stressed with everything I have going on, but I don't know if that is the cause. So this morning I went and had a transvaginal ultrasound to check for cysts. If I'm clear then we will dicuss options such as Clomid. I'm not really sure what to expect now. Fingers crossed.
Re: New & TTC for 2 years
Welcome to the board.
Are you working with an OB or an RE? I would encourage you to read the newbie link on this page - it contains a lot of helpful information regarding Clomid and how it can be potentially dangerous if monitoring is not done properly by your doctor.
Good Luck

Welcome to the board, and I'm sorry you have to be here. Have you read our newbie link at the top? It discusses many of the initial testis you may want to request if you haven't had them already. Also are you working with an RE or an OBGYN?
Good luck and again welcome. This board is full or supportive and very knowledgeable ladies who know exactly how you feel!

Sorry you have to be here but welcome! I also would recommend you get in with an RE. Not only is unmonitored clomid dangerous, you're likely to waste time/money/clomid cycles (most docs agree there is a limit to how many lifetime clomid cycles you can have) working with an OB.
I understand that you are stressed and that is totally normal for what you and all of us are going through! I think you will feel better once you meet with an RE and start getting a plan together for testing/treatments etc.
