Hi All,
I've been lurking for a while and introduced myself sometime back (I think!) and am now looking for a little support. I'm 18w 5d and had a cerclage placed back at around 13 weeks. Due to my history I've had ultrasounds every week to continue to monitor my cervix as I'd previously began dilating at 18 weeks. My us this week revealed a slight loss in cervical length (not a huge loss, nothing to impose further restrictions) but this time they said I have partial placenta previa. First, I wonder if this is common and what happened with my previous pregnancy (I had a rescue cerclage placed at around 20 weeks and made it full term) due to the timing. I've not had any spotting at all and the doctor doesn't seem to be worried but said that I may have to return to the specialist after my us next week. Do the two go hand in hand? Is this something anyone else is dealing with? I've also heard that it can resolve on it's own. I'm not looking for medical advice, just some positive stories to lift my spirits. Thanks in advance :-)
