Angelcare deluxe - for twins?

Can the Angelcare Deluxe be used for twins in two separate cribs? They will be sleeping in the same room.

Re: Angelcare deluxe - for twins?

  • DH and I are looking into the angel care deluxe as well, the one we looked at came with two sensor pads so I assume it would work with our two. IMHO I would just make sure there were two sensor pads and it should work just fine.

Ok, thanks! I've been finding bits and pieces online about interference between the two sets. Hoping someone on here has used it for twins and can tell me if it works.

  • We're doing Snuza's because it works with twins on the same surface and can be easily used for multiple types of sleeping places.  My BFF has one for her singleton and she loves it.

  • No it cannot.  You have to get two monitors.

I agree with Raggedy 1 that the Snuzas would be perfect for twins.  We used both the Snuza and the Angelcare with my DS.  I loved the Snuza because I found that my newborn spent more time in his bouncer, swing, and the newborn napper that came in the pack and play.  The Snuza works on any surface and gave me peace of mind when my babe wasn't in his crib.

  • I bought this for my DD who was a preemie and it didn't work...she was to light for it to register and went off continuously.  just letting you know since twins can mean littler little ones...my advice would be check out the snoozie

  • The 2 pads are to cover a larger area because once they start rolling a lot you get a lot of false alarms.

We had one sound and motion unit and one motion only unit and I loved the peace of mind.

Most pedis don't like them because they say if a baby needs a monitor it will get one in the hospital, but for us, as nervous first time parents, it gave me a little peace.

  • We use the snauza hero monitors as they clip to the diapers and have their own alarm on the monitor themselves. The only downfall is it isn't linked to the baby monitor so if they are not in the same room with you it might be hard to hear as the actual thing clipped to the diaper is what sounds the alarm. It will vibrate if no movement is detected for 15 seconds then sound the audible alarm if movement does resume 5 seconds after the vibration. They are a bit pricy as well.

Too many people with the pads have told me about too many false alarms once they can roll as they can move off the pad.

We only use the monitors at night while we are sleeping but they are in rock n plays right beside us.
