Trouble TTC

Do I belong? **Child Mentioned**

So, I was told (I'm not going to name-names, there's no real point.) That I don't belong here because I already have 1 child. I'm just wondering if that's the consensus?
I just feel more comfortable here than on Secondary IF. This is where I was initially referred when I into'd on TTGP... and I enjoy you ladies! I don't ever talk about DD here, do not have a ticker or any of that, and mention her momentarily next to my blog link so no one sees anything they don't want to see.
Anyways... I guess my question is, are you guys okay with me sticking around here? Or would you prefer I mosey on over to Secondary IF? (Which I would also understand.) I would hate it if me being here caused anyone pain.
TTC#2 Since July 2011

  • I don't see an issue with you posting here.  I think it is a bigger issue if you have pictures or tickers in your siggy, which you do not.

    PAIF/SAIF Welcome!

  • Three years ago when I first started posting on this board we had tons of secondary IF'ers and we had no problem with pics, tickers, etc.  I accept that the board has become more constrained with not wanting to see pics and tickers, and wanting a ticker warning if a child is mentioned.

But since you have respected that and only have minor mention in your siggy as concerns to your blog, I see no problem.  Of course, since your blog is your personal business you can post whatever you want!  If anyone has a problem, you could always just remove mention of it next to your blog, if people click through to your blog and see mention of your child they can just leave your blog, problem solved.  I think it's nice that you give warning as to what it's about.

So to make a long story short - stick around!  If you're more comfortable here and let's admit it - we're frickin' awesome, why not?

  • I get all the warnings some of the ladies here want, it helps when having a bad day... but personally I think it can be a little too sensitive at times. That said, stay! You are more then welcomed.
  • I don't even pay attention to any of the tickers most of the time- whether they are for married time/cycle day/etc etc. But I think it's cool that you are aware of the hurt that might cause and are respectful of those that are sensitive. Welcome!

  • I know I'm newer here but I hope you stay :
