Another Vent and Hysteroscopy Update

I swear my friends have the worst timing with their GD pregnancy announcements. The last one was about an hour after I found out I would need a repeat hysteroscopy and would be on a forced break until April instead of February. Next one was 5 minutes ago as I'm laying in bed recovering from said hysteroscopy. I'm not feeling excited for either one, they're not BFFs more like fringe friends, so I'm really just feeling super annoyed with their timing. Maybe if they had announced on different days I would feel happier for them.
About the procedure, it went fine and the tiny part of the fibroid that was left is now gone. I had a rougher time with this recovery and was there for about 4 hours before I could leave but feel ok today. I had initially decided to do a lap at the same time but changed my mind at the last minute because I was really worried about the risk of adhesions from the surgery, and no one could tell me why they suspected endo more than family history. We really haven't tried much treatment yet and maybe the fibroid was our primary issue? So we're going to try 1 more TI cycle then an IUI, then reassess whether I'll get the lap at that point or just keep going with 2 more IUIs then IVF.
So in a nutshell, stupid hysteroscopies, stupid IF, and stupid pregnancy announcements!

I'm scheduling a hysteroscopy to remove polyps or scar tissue tomorrow after a sonohysterogram. I didn't realize there might be a forced break from ttc. What was it like? My RE wants me to have a lap to check for endo at the same time. I'm really scared to have such an invasive surgery and I'm not convinced its necessary. The only symptoms I have are trouble ttc and irregular spotting. They both might be caused by polyps. Any insight?
