Formula question

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months
Powdered formula says to discard after 1 month after opening. Just curious the reason and how many of you do this or don't?

    I've never noticed. We go through it pretty quick. I would think humidity and germs in the air would factor into discarding after a month.

    I would think it has something to do with the fact that it is basically powdered milk? An open can only lasts us a week so I hadn't thought much about it!
