Can we talk about New Girl?

Does anyone else think that since the Nick and Jess kiss the writers have turned Nick into a total dipwad?  I, for one, do not like it.

I love them all!! I want Nick and Jess to be together, but they keep teasing me. I feel like now they're making him so serious, when they all used to just crack me up!

Nick's always been a dipwad, but I just want Jess to be happy.

I LOVE this show and LOVE all the characters. I personally do not think the writing for his character has changed. He has always been that way.
