Beco question

Re: Beco question

  • The distribution of weight for the baby is better for it's spine/neck. The front carry position is not the best for baby. The carrier itself distributes the weight better/more efficiently- I had to stop using the Bjorn with Ty at about three months because it hurt my shoulders and back. I bought the Ergo and never looked back- you've seen me use it with my big kiddo.

I assume the Beco has the same features as the Ergo- and you can wear it on the side/hip and back, unlike the Bjorn.

  • Hmmmmmm.

My DH is not going to like you if I buy this April!  Wink

  • I'm blaming my purchase on April as well.  I wasn't going to get one since I have the Ergo, but she convinced me it's ok to have two.

I'm just bummed they sold out of the print I wanted too.

  • Mine was $68 with shipping- you really can't beat it!

The plain Bjorn is just as much and not nearly as good : )

  • They're way cuter too.

  • I agree the newborn carry with this becco looks more like the bjorn than an ergo, but maybe worn the baby sits more than hangs. All I know is, I have my ergo, it works, I am happy, DH is happy and which ever kid is in it is happy so I don't need anything else.

    Mama to Z - 5.5 years, G - 3.5 years, & M - 1.5 years.
  • Rachel, you could always use the "it's not good for spine development" card with your DH, then he'll be asking you get the beco instead ;)
