Hello all! I was wondering what kind of activities you do with your LO? 

DS is 7 weeks. I feel so guilty that lots of his awake time is spent just in my arms. I talk to him constantly of course, and he has some tummy time and we spend some time looking at his toys. Are there other activities you do with one so young? I want him to get everything that he needs and not be bored in my arms! Since he is so little and not yet very interested in toys or anything yet I just feel kind of lost sometimes.

Narrate everything you do, sing songs, read books even if he's not looking at the pictures, infant massage

We have a play mat that has a music star that also lights up. Even though she doesn't do much with it she loves to to just stare and eventually if you play with them they will start to interact with things.

I move her arms and legs and sing while doing it so it's like she's dancing. She laughs every time.

Talking, singing, "dancing" (ie moving her arms and legs around. she loves this), tummy time, reading, or just hanging out. I don't think babies this young can really be bored, they're constantly soaking in their environment and learning from it.

Just the same thing - talking, looking at toys, etc.  Not much else to do at this point haha!

I'm reading Lord of the Flies so I read it out to her, we spend time listening to music & I'll dance around with her & sing along, go on walks with her in the Ergo. I mostly do whatever I would have wanted to do but out loud so she can at least hear words. She does love the piano play mat we got her, that's about the only activity I can lay her down and run around doing chores and she'll be content for like 30 minutes kicking & listening to the music.
