4 month sleep regression

If you have been or are in the 4 month sleep regression what did it look like for you.  The past week C has been waking up way more than normal.  He used to only wake up once to nurse and now I am up at least 2 or 3 times a night if not more.  The other night he was up every hour.  How long did the bad sleep last for you?  I am just curious as to what I am in for.  I feel like a zombie during the day right now!

We lived with those patterns for about a month and a half before we decided to do Ferber. DS was up every hour or two and needed to be rocked back to sleep. He was happy. We were not. However, I'm not sure it was the four month wakeful period as much as it was time that DS learned to put himself back to sleep.

Ours lasted from 4 to 6 months. We didn't sleep train, she just started sleeping much better at 6 months. Sometimes she will regress like when she gets a cold and it will take a week or so to get her back on track. Since she had bronchitis at 4 months and her lungs haven't healed yet, I can't do Ferber or any cry methods bc she gets too worked up and has trouble breathing. GL!

It happened for us when she was around four months. It involved 3 or 4 am parties in her crib. Happy as could be but wouldn't go to sleep until we turned on her mobile. She is a sheep partier. Since there was no sheep partier's anonymous to take her to, we lived with it for about a month and then she just stopped on her own.
