Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!
Post below if you would like your information updated. And let me know if I missed any BFPs! Please post an update at least monthly so I know you are still active. You will be removed if you go more than 4 weeks without posting.
If you would like to be added, please answer the questions below:
1. What is your name (if you want to share)?
2. When did you start TTC (month/year)?
3. What is your diagnosis, if you have one?
4. What treatments are you doing?
GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO?

GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO? I handle all the finances, but he likes to know where we are. I'm pretty anal, and have an Excel spreadsheet, so I say if he has questions, to just look at that because I HATE talking about money if we don't have to.
You are doing an amazing job with the weekly check-in. Thanks so much!
1. What is your name: Morris811
2. When did you start TTC November 2011
3. What is your diagnosis, if you have one: PCOS and currently awaiting testing for adrenal issues
4. What treatments are you doing: Lap removed two large cyst on 1/31. We are trying on our own till April.
GTKY: A combination of both. It is a weekly discussion on what needs to be paid and when. I am in charge of groceries, medical bills, insurance and gifts. He is in charge of decisions around mortgage and automotive.
Good morning ladies! Congrats to the BFPs and hugs to those that need them.
Speaking of hugs, I'll take some because AF reared her ugly head this am. I've known for a few days now she was coming, but it still sucks. So IUI #2 is a bust. And I'm extra annoyed with AF because she came a day or two later than expected and if we decide to do an IUI cycle again, I'm stressed it's going to conflict with an OOT wedding we are going to. Ugh, always something! Calling the RE in a bit to come up with a game plan. Not even sure we will do an IUI since we are waiting on DH's antibiotics results (see siggy). Decisions, decisions.
Since I'm an accountant, I deal with the finances. Love DH, but he is no bueno with money and taking care of things on time, lol. Although he's slowly getting better, I must be rubbing off on him, hehe.
Have a good day ladies!

GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO? I handle the finances - he's hopeless with money and would spend everything we had in a day then say, "I don't know where it all went!" I dont' mind, it's a nice trade off b/c he does the dishes and vacuums - both jobs I despise!
Good morning! I took my last BCP last night. ::does happy dance:: I go in on Wednesday for baseline. FET is 3/20.

Hi Thanks for doing this!
I just wanted to clarify my current tx plan - just Femara and TI no trigger for me
And or the question: We both handle the finances however in the past few weeks I have been getting more focused and started a budget. DH thinks I am a little crazy for it, but I want to start getting our finances under better order and start saving up for fertility tx stuff in case we need it.

Hi Ladies, hugs to those who need them - include me in that bunch since IUI #5 was a bust. We will do IUI #6 when AF shows up (she was supposed to come yesterday). We also have an IVF consult next week so that we can roll into it if IUI #6 with injects is a bust.
Good luck to those cycling now!

My Blog
Hi everyone!
AF came on Monday last week, so I'm starting my first cycle with meds. I had my CD3 baseline ultrasound which I was nervous about, but everything looked good. I am doing 50 mg Clomid CD3-7, so tonight is my last dose of Clomid (thank goodness!). I don't know if it is just me but I kind of feel like a crazy person on Clomid. I have been having the most restless sleep every night and my emotions are all over the board. I go in for a follicle study ultrasound on Friday and hopefully I will have some sort of response! If things look good I am doing Ovidrel as a trigger.
GTKY: My husband is an accountant so he handles more of our budgeting and finances than I do. He makes all sorts of excel spreadsheets that I have no idea how to make. Ultimately, spending and budgeting decisions are made together, but he definitely takes the lead in keeping things organized.
GL to everyone this week!

ETA...
QOTW: I handle the finances @ our house. We would have nothing if DH were in charge of it. He's a spender. I'm a saver.

PAIF/SAIF welcome!
hi ladies,
I had my ER on Thursday and so happy to never have to do one again as this one was the worse and then I had a few side effects my ovaries bled some and then I had to be cathed on Friday due to my bladder not working. By the time we left the clinic on Thursday I was maxed out on IV pain meds and IV zofran. But the plus side my embies are looking amazing and our ET is Tuesday.
QOTW: I use a spread sheet to keep our budget and then when bills come in for the month I write them on our big calander and cross them off as they are paid.
Hugs to everyone cycling right now

4. What treatments are you doing? will start with clomid 50mg
GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO? my husband pays most of the bills, we discuss big purchases and investments. He's a numbers and finance guy, so I would be lost without him! and he does our taxes too! I'm so thankful for that

Mama to Three Girls:
Twins born March 2014 at 26 weeks due to preterm labor
and our 37weeker born May 9th, 2016!
Vpine, started TTC Jan 2011, unexplained, treatment: Bravelle injects, Ovidrel and IUI along with progesterone suppositories.
I handle the finances (I'm an accountant, husband spends $ like water so it's appropriate I handle)
Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.

Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).
I don't have much going on right now, so my check-in is kind of boring.
This was supposed to be our last cycle TTC on our own before starting treatment with my new RE. I had to get blood work on CD 3 (my ob/gyn never ordered AMH or E2 on my CD 3 blood work, so the RE wanted those done) and then my RE wanted to see a mid cycle u/s on an unmedicated cycle and do a post coital test (he's a little old school). So I got my blood work done and had an u/s scheduled for CD 13 which was a monday, but of course I ovulated on the sunday before and had to cancel my u/s. So now I am waiting on CD 1 so that I can set up a mid cycle u/s and a post coital test.
ETA: I forgot to answer the QOTW. I handle all of our finances, from budgeting to bill paying. We do have separate checking accounts (although we are both on each other's accounts), but DH never uses his. I pay all of our bills out of mine and DH gives me cash from his check to put in savings or use to pay bills. It's kind of a weird setup, but it works for us.

Hey ladies! I hope everyone had a good weekend =]
QOTW: We work together. I pay the bills that require writing out a check and he pays the bills that we are able to pay online. I made a Google calendar for our bills and synced it to both of our phones so neither of us forget what is due/how much we need to pay. We're both pretty anal about money, so it works well for us!
My mini update is pretty uneventful. We are approaching our 3 yr TTC anniversary and today, I'm dealing with that ok. Other days, not so much.
The only major issue right now is that I'm planning my BFF's (huge) baby shower. I had posted here a few weeks ago asking if should do it, and got a lot of positive encouragement. It's been okay so far, since I'm keeping myself busy with the invitations & decorations. I like that sort of thing, and it helps to distract me from the 'baby' part of it. The actual day is going to be pretty rough, but I'm going to suck it up. When it gets hard, I just remind myself that she will hopefully plan an amazing shower for me one day.
As far as TTC, we have two destination weddings coming up in the next 2 months, so won't be able to do IUI until May. And even then, there's no guarantee we'll be up on the wait list by then. Fingers crossed.
Best wishes to everyone out there!

GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances you or your DH/SO?
We each have our own accounts and have certain bills that we pay. It's not the most organized system but it works for us. He's more of a saver and takes care of the large chunk bills that come in once or twice a year like car insurance and gas bill. He also pays the car payment. I pay and manage all of the other bills. He spends his own money on his own food like what he eats for lunch but otherwise we use his account as more of a liquid savings account, seperate from our other savings that we try not to touch except for emergencies.
Me: 32 DH: 31.

We're on the same page about our goals with our finances, but I handle all of the managing, paying bills, etc. He's got the better understanding and brain for handling the money, but I have the organization so we're a good team!
KY29, You do such an amazing job listing everyone on this, thank you sweetie

I always said that was just such a strong suit for us was communication. We both know where we are at, all the time.

Just waiting to test this weekend, my husband is much more hopeful than I am, I think because he is dreading IVF and really needs for this to work!
GTKY: When my husband and I first got married I realized how bad he was at dealing with the finances so I handle them. I'm a CPA and was horrified. Example: When he got a bill (water, electric, etc) he'd just pay way more than what was due, like $300 for water and wait for the money to run out. He just didn't like dealing with bills every month. But then he'd ended up forgetting and he'd have several months of late fees after the large credit on his account ran out. He does't touch anything now.

4. What treatments are you doing? Clomid, first round.
GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO? This is funny to most people: we live like roommates - no joint accounts. We split the mortgage down the middle and I pay the bills and charge him his half. I buy the groceries and he pays for dinners out, and he pays the cell phone bill and I pay cable. We each own our cars outright.
Someday we will join it up but married for 5 years and this is working fine!

As of yesterday I realized I'm going to be in additional testing until at least May. I'm in the middle of a Lupron Challenge Test right now. On April 11th I have my Endometrial Biopsy, Hysteroscopy, and another HSG (thank God I'll be under sedation!). DH will also have another SA while I'm in the procedure. We will have a follow up in May then figure out what the next step is.
GTKY: We are both terrible with finances, but I'd say I keep track of paying the bills best because I'm way more organized than he is.
After almost 2 years of TTC and fertility treatments we got a surprise BFP in May 2013
Hey all. Great to read all the checkins!
I am apparantley in the 2ww - I've never had actual crosshairs before! I don't know if I acutally O'd this cycle because I didn't get one +OPK. Oh well, we shall see! I have a consultation with my OB next week to kind of talk about next steps. Step 1 might be to see an RE but I think I'm going to inquire about upping my dosage of Metformin for now. I'm hoping that will be a step in the right direction.
Hope you all have a great week!

1. What is your name (if you want to share)?
pennygwen
2. When did you start TTC (month/year)?
05/2006
3. What is your diagnosis, if you have one?
PCOS
4. What treatments are you doing?
Just started with a new RE and we are starting over from the beginning. I currently have four days left of Provera. Once AF shows, it's on to Clomid.
GTKY: Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO?
My DH handles the majority of the household finances. He makes way more money than I do and it makes him feel like he is taking care of us. All big purchases are discussed and decided upon. Other than that, as long as the bills are paid and we are saving money each month, he does what he wants with his money and the same for me. He is much more of a spender than I am though. We have all separate accounts and probably always will.
PCOS (anovulatory and amenorrhea) and hypothyroid.
Currently taking Metformin 1500 MG and Synthroid.
Prior HSG and DH SAs were clear.
Feb 2013 - Switched clinics/RE and starting from the beginning again with some modifications.
Current status: CD 3 appointment showed lining was too thick (11.5 mm). Endometrial biopsy scheduled for CD 11. Next steps will be based on results.
All welcome to respond.

3. What is your diagnosis, if you have one? MFI, although I haven't had my HSG yet
4. What treatments are you doing? DH is on Clomid, just took a one-month blood test today
GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO?
I handle the finances for the most part... He pays a few bills, but I'm the one who always knows the bank account balance!
I'm meeting with a new RE next week to try to figure out these big cysts. So, we will be unmedicated for at least this cycle. I'm not going to start up temping again so I won't even know if I happen to ovulate. (rare without meds)
GTKY: Because my husand and I were talking about this yesterday... Who handles the household finances - you or your DH/SO? I do, but DH is capable of taking care of them as well. We have everything linked to our checking account online - so we sign in, it lists what is due to be paid and we can pay them all right there.
