Intro - Cycling after two years away

Hello ladies.

I thought I would post an official intro since I hope to join the conversations here. I posted on this board under another name years ago. If this is not the correct board I should post on, please let me know.

I'm 32 and DH is 39. At 21, I was diagnosed with PCOS (anovulatory and amenhorrea) and at 26, I found out I was hypothyroid. I am taking Metformin 1500 mg and Synthroid. Met has done nothing for my cycle, so I must take Provera every 60 days.

DH and I have been married and TTC #1 since 2006. We took the first two years to try on our own as we were buying a house and get settled into our careers.

We've had all the proper testing. My HSG was clear and DH's SAs have always been normal.

At our first RE, we completed several Clomid and TI cycles, Injectibles with TI and Injectibles with IUI. Nothing worked. We stopped then so I could lose some weight for IVF and get my sanity back. A few months later I had an unplanned job change and lost our insurance. At that point we put TTC out of the picture.

Fast forward two years and we've decided to give TTC another try. We met with our new RE/clinic last week. He wants us to start with Clomid again since I ovulated well on it. He will increase the dosage and try for two monitored cycles. Then it's on to Femara and progressively down the list from there.
