Hello Everyone!
I am 33. DH is 36. Married for 8 months. Been together for 9 years. TTC for 2 years. Finally, decided to find an RE and get all the testing done. For me, tubes are clear, uterus had polyp which was removed, no scar tissue or anything else. everything good. DH had SA, good sperm count, low motility and 2% normal sperm. Completely defeated due to abnormal sperm.
RE is referring DH to urologist/fertility specialist for eval and possible treatment to increase normal sperm. I didn't know where to turn and posters on TTGP suggested I post here.
Has anyone had something similar happen? If so, any recommendations? Thanks for reading and TIA for any advice.

Hello and welcome. MFI is not uncommon, there are tons of us here dealing with it. First off, get your husband on Co-Q10 and a vitamin supplement (I personally suggest Fertility Blend for Men).
Has your RE suggested IUI yet? Do you have the numbers for count and motility?

All of this! The urologist will probably also do a repeat SA to rule out a fluke. Good luck!

These girls are wise.
MFI is a huge blower- I'm sorry you are dealing with it. I hope the Uro helps!
Welcome to the board!
I agree with what these ladies have said also. I was completely lost when we were first diagnosed with MFI. Its something that you can't see coming. There are no signs. So it can really knock you off your feet when the doctor goes over that first SA with you. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you are going though this. Have him do a repeat SA and ask a urologist about Co-Q10 and Fertility Blend or anything else they might suggest. Also let your hubby know that he will have a quick exam by the uro at that first appointment.
Again I'm sorry you are going through this. MFI sucks.
