Researching in-home providers in Oregon

I have searched my state's website and can't really find anything where I can find out if a particular in-homne provider is licensed, or of there are any complaints. I'm using a particular provider that I know was shut down last year as my "test case" and I'm unable to find anything about her. Any ideas?

Not sure where you live, but try searching community care licensing. You should be able to find active and suspended licensees. Some states will only give you basic contact type info. Other states will also let you see recent inspections, complaints, etc.

I'm not sure if it's the same everywhere, but in VA I can find all of the info on the County's site, rather than state. And it mentions the license level state, county, etc. Maybe try your county government first? But they likely only would show active provider info
