so i just started on insulin last night and my doctor told me no more midnight snacks, this made fairly depressed, as i am having a really tough pregnancy, the one thing that makes it better is my alone time in the middle of the night, when everyone is sleeping but me and i watch tv and have a snack.
do you guys have a snack still and if so what?

Re: insulin and midnight snacking?
You can still have anything free of carbs/sugar (I know not as exciting). Pretty much any veggies, cheese, an omelete, sugar free jello etc.
If you can get away with a little bit of carbs you can try popcorn...you get a decent size bowl full for about 15carbs.
