Monday was my 1 yr anniversary at the second job. I cannot handle their crap any more. I had planned to stay until the end of July where we'd have $6000 saved towards a down payment, but I have changed the plan. My last day will be April 4. By that time we will have the car loan paid off and I can put at least one check entirely into savings. It's not as much savings as I wanted, but we paid off the credit card debt and one of the car loans will be gone by that time. I think I can consider that a success, and I'll just deal with the lower savings. They are driving me crazy, and I cannot handle any more. Between customers treating me like crap and drama amongst the managers, I am done.
44 days left.

You should be so proud of what you've accomplished! Yay for an end in sight!
I wanted to get a big LED countdown of some form and put it on the wall in the living room, but DH won't let me. I think I might make a chain christmas-style countdown and hang it at my desk. I have a lovely countdown app on my phone, and it is counting down until the day I give my 2 weeks notice (March 22; 30 days left) and to the last day (April 4; 44 days).
It'll be perfect timing too. I work in the Money Center, and I am the only person scheduled on Fridays. I already have that day off because I'm going to GnomeSweetGnome's house for the DFW yarn/fiber festival and my 20 mile long run. They are going to be so screwed. It'll be a Friday, and the first Friday of the month, and it'll be extra busy because of the end of tax season. The other MC closer is off on Thurs/Fri, and the idiot woman that they want to replace me refuses to work on Fridays. Have fun with that, suckers.
Start it around 9:30pm CST. I am planning to drink after my long run on Saturday with Gnome and my bff. It'll probably only take half of a drink for me to pass out though lol. I haven't drank since June, and I will have run 20 freaking miles. It's the longest long run before the marathon. I'll need to be super careful and make sure that I'm hydrated or I will be very unhappy come Sunday morning.
The managers are all fighting amongst themselves like teenagers, the higher-up managers won't bring me extra money when I need it to cash tax checks, and they've taken away our walkie when the palm pilots don't work and no one answers at the fitting room. It leaves me with no protection if something happens and I don't like that. I was accused of having an attitude when I protested them taking away the walkie. They suggested I page over head if I need help. Like a robber is going to just let me say "hey, hold up. Imma let you finish, but let me just page for help really quick." I don't think so.
Oh Hell no! That is just insane, your managers need a kick in the crotch.

I would, if I could update my siggy. Stupid bump.
I worked for walmart all during college, so I knew going in how it would be. But this store is the most bassackwards store I've ever seen! We go through assistant managers like candy! It's like they send managers there to die or something. The customers are really high class too. I had a man insist that his bus pass was a valid government ID the other day. That's how smart some of them are.
My 1 year actually makes 5.5 years total. I thought the other 2 stores I've worked in were bad, but I had no idea. As much as I'd like to make my last day super memorable for them, I am usually too nice. My brain shuts down when I'm angry, so there's that too.
My trainer said that I should leave shouting "eff you, and eff you, and eff you and you and you!" However, I don't have the balls to do something like that. Also, I know it's just walmart, but I don't want to burn the bridge in case something happens in the future and we have to get extra income quickly.
