Baby Showers

Hostess gift

I am having an early shower at work and want to give the hostess a nice gift because she is having it at her home. She is one of those people that has everything, only works for fun, believe it or not. I am kind of struggling and am thinking about doing this gift basket. Do you think that is acceptable or too impersonal? I don't want to do a gift card. Thanks in advance.

Re: Hostess gift

  • If you know she loves chocolate and snacky things, it's a great idea.  I highly recommend Harry and David stuff for gifts (but again, if you don't know what snacks she likes, it's hard).  We got the H&D pears for DH's three aunts and a mixed basket of goodies for my godmother for Christmas and they RAVED about it.

  • I think it is very nice. Just make sure that she likes chocolate. My go to is always a mani/pedi gift certificate.

I agree to this! or a unique gift that describes your gratitude.

  • gift baskets are always fun also those fruit-arranged baskets are perfect for those people who have it all.
