Thanks for the opinions! I love it but not sure I could use it! Not even sure I'll have another baby to name. It just keeps my mind off things! Keep you're opinions coming!

Could maybe be a cute NN if there was a more feminine full name...but I can't think of a girls' name that Toby would be a NN for.
This. I LOVE the name Toby (thanks West Wing) and I'm not opposed to boy names on girls (I've always like Ryan and Skyler), but... Toby does seem a little awkward. I don't know.
I wouldn't mind it as a boyish nickname for a feminine first (along the lines of Charlie or Frankie), but I'm not crazy about it as a formal first name.
I don't know if this is something that would matter to you or not (it's not a big deal to me), but Toby is wildly popular as a dog's name right now. (One of my dogs has this name and there are always several Tobys at the dog park any time we go.)
Bad. Especially with Ryann. Not judging her name, totally get why you used it but I think if you have another girl and use a boy name (I say Ryan is unisex) then I could see people side eyeing it. But if that doesn't bother you...
Eh, it's not that bad. But I def think it would be better as a nn (I personally love feminine fns that have masculine nns.. Francesca/Frankie, Alexandra/Alex, and my DD Johanna/Jo)... just not sure what the full first name would be to make Toby a nickname!
ETA: Thinking on this for a minute more, I actually like Toby more as a nn for a girl than I do as a fn for a boy!

DH and I were thisclose to naming DD Tobi Lynn! I love it on a girl - it is one of the very few boy names I like on girls.
We got it from one of our favorite singers, Tobi Lightman. Totally a GP name for me but was almost a reality!

Yes. It is bad. I think of Toby as a (male) dog or a fat kid...and now I feel bad.
Is Toby a nickname for something though? OP, maybe you could use Toby as a nn?
I agree. It's not the worst, but I definitely wouldn't choose it for a girl.
