Make you strip down naked, under a gown of course. Boob exam, stomach exam, then internal ultra sound, with lots of goo on a fun (not really) wand! You'll get to hear the heart beat and see the baby, although it doesn't look like much at this point. Hopefully you will get photos!
I did not get a heart beat at my first apt nor an internal u/s so it may just be a pap, blood work and urine etc. then a bunch of info. I didn't get the heart beat and u/s till my second apt last time.
It depends on your doctor. At my first appointment (9 weeks) I'll only meet with a nurse. They will do a family history, bloodwork, and discuss payment options for the birth. At my first official doctor's visit (12.5 weeks) they will do a yearly vaginal exam, breast exam, transvaginal ultrasound (ouchie) to look for a heartbeat and to give me an estimated due date. I think that's about it.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Not necessarily. My first visit was with a nurse and it was paperwork, blood and a urine sample. I didn't see my OB until. 2.5 weeks later where she did an ultrasound and even then not all practices do it. So I wouldn't count on an ultrasound.

Most of this is probably unlikely. Many practices don't do early/dating u/s unless you're unsure of dates or high risk.. which means no seeing baby, and no HB. Also, baby's heart may not be beating yet, depending on your dates.
Things that are pretty universal across practices: blood and urine test, weight, review your history, possibly a pap/pelvic, ask questions, review pregnancy do's/dont's, etc. Depending on the practice, you may or may not see the doctor at this visit.
Just had my first prenatal appt two days ago at 9 weeks. Did a ton of paperwork on family history, blood work, urine test, and a glucose test for diabetes. Also saw a video on birth defects and screenings available for detection.
My next appt is in 2 weeks and they told me I'll be getting my first u/s and to being the hubster along.
I think it varies from Dr. to Dr. The first prenatal appt. at my Dr.'s office is just a meeting with the nurse practitioner to discuss pregnancy/health histories, as well as a quick u/s scan to see if your due date matches up.
My first appointment is next Tuesday and I was told I am getting an u/s. I would think they would've told you if you were having an u/s. My doctor has multiple offices but only one with an u/s machine, so I'm going to a different office than I normally do. They also told me to bring a blank CDR so that they can put pictures on there. H won't be going with me because it's a bit out of the way for him and the nurse told me that there's not much to see this early anyway. I'll be about 10 weeks.
I had bloodwork done a couple of weeks ago to verify I was pregnant, so will they do bloodwork again?

Not sure. I will let you know in two days. (my first prenatal appointment.)
Congrats to you!
NOT ALL DOCTORS DO AN ULTRASOUND. Some don't do them until 12 weeks. Just to prepare you
Mine was: pee in cup, pelvic exam, boob and tummy exam, blood work and medical history.
