fuming!

A squirrel has managed to breech our attic space. At first I was feeling bad for the critter and made my hubby get a humane trap so we could just release it. After discovering the damage that he has caused that is visible on the outside of my house I have decided that I need to find a good recipe for squirrel because he just lost his chance to live a full life. I know that may sound harsh but I am pissed, assessing the damage from the outside alone its going to cost at least 150 dollars to fix it. That doesnt include any of the damage that I cant see inside the attic. Also I am bewildered by how the heck he even got in there! We have no trees near our house and the roof is over 22 feet from the ground. Ugh! Im so mad at this stupid yet somehow smart squirrel!

Re: fuming!

  • If he got inside- I would recommend checking all of your soffit (the horizontal between roof edge and wall face). If a piece is loose, missing or broken that's a good access point for them.

Sucky day! Hope it gets better!
