Q about Formula Checks

I assumed you could use one check per can of formula, or can you combine them? Also, anyone know if you can combine checks with coupons?

Re: Q about Formula Checks

  • One check per container and yes, you can combine with coupons.

  • Just so you know, although you are supposed to use one check per can, recently, I tried this at Target, and they said one check per DAY, no matter how many cans.

This was a two-level Target, so I bought one can, got another off the shelf, and made my way downstairs to buy another down there -- the manager shows up out of nowhere and, quite embarrassingly, snatches the can from my hand at the register and says "I SAID one per day!"

I tell her that the check itself says quite clearly one check per formula purchase, not per day, and point out that Target still gets the same revenue, and that Similac would probably not appreciate knowing that Target is restricting me from buying formula there.

I walk away and decide to feed my LO before heading to the car. While I'm standing there, the manager comes up to me and says, "OK, I looked into it, and although our policy is one per day, my supervisor said we haven't been doing that, so I will allow you to purchase another can with a formula check today." Not only that, but she gave me a free Target gift card for my "trouble."

I never had any issue at Target before this, and I used multiple checks there all the time when DD was on formula, but just be forewarned.

    :)

  • I have purchased my formula (enfamil) at Walgreen's, Rite-Aid and Wal-Mart and I have used multiple checks on ONE can of formula. I actually went today to Walgreen's and bought the big can ($24.99) and the travel packets (around $11.99) and with my checks and two coupons I only paid $2.49 for BOTH formula's. They have never given me a hard time about using multiple checks on one can of formula!
