Skin help!

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and my skin is breaking out like I'm 17 all of a sudden. Since I can't use any treatment cleaners does anyone have any ideas that have worked. It's all over my neck, chest and face, I hope this doesn't last the whole pregnancy. Suggestions please!

  • Belli is a skincare line for pregnant woman.  It is sold online, at Buy Buy Baby or at Destination Maternity/A Pea in the pod.  The have a great face wash and spot treatment.

  • Eminence is an organic skin care line. It's not specifically for maternity but it's all natural and safe. Pretty spendy but worth it if you can afford it. Everything is concentrate so a little bit goes a long way. I use blackberry pore refining serum and the strawberry rhubarb exfoliant.

Currently I'm using baking soda to wash my face, sometimes with lemon juice.

  • I use the clairisonic brush and that thing works wonders. Maybe even the ones sold at target would help clean up your pores. :) good luck!

  • I'm using the Belli face wash and spot treatment and have noticed an improvement.  They also sell it at Ulta if you have one nearby.  Also, I've been trying to wash my face when I get home from work and skip makeup on the weekends.  That might help, too.

  • I'm using Burt's bees
  • I have been using Clinique face wash, toner, and lotion and it works really well.  It's also safe to use while pregnant.

  • My skin has always been a challenge for me. I'm 5w6d : and I'm actually surprised how well it's doing. I've been using the Clarisonic for sensitive skin bristles and CeraVe foaming face wash. My skin initially broke out because it was getting SO clean, and I was using the Clarisonic twice a day, now I only use it once a day. It's a chunk of change for the Clarisonic at first but SO worth it!!! And the face wash is on 12 and I buy it every 45months.
  • I have a piggy back question off this one... anyone have any tips for super dry skin? my face and nipples are down right raw I've been putting coco butter on like 2-3 times a day and it's helping a little bit. I was just wondering if there is anything else to try.

  • Last pregnancy this happened a lot to me. I just used cocoa butter multiple times a day! Sorry nothing better to suggest.

I've been using this for several years and it is awesome.  I haven't had hardly any breakouts since becoming pregnant, minus the ones on my chest.  But I don't use it on my chest.

PS, aesisson, your bird is cute!  ;)  I have an Eclectus
